Adoption Research and Client Visit

This week we are back in DC at the Belmont loft with Ray and Antonio. We are currently filming the Adoption Research segment, and then we will move on to the course introduction.

Today we had an awesome site visit from Les McFarling, Tom Marquez, and Sheila Seitz.

Testimonials

September 15-17 the crew gathered at R.R. Lighting in Silver Spring to shoot testimonials videos from volunteers who had at one point made high risk choices around alcohol and/or drugs, and have since made positive changes to either refrain from using, or to make low risk drinking choices.

It was a scramble to find volunteers, but together we managed to find around 20 awesome individuals from all walks of life. Go Team!

A special thank you to Taylor and the crew for making my birthday unforgettable. Very nice indeed. :)

Tommy Joe's and Mike's Debut

Tuesday afternoon, September 14, we rushed back to Tommy Joe's in Bethesda to film a few quick "man on the bar" segments. Here, Antonio interviewed extras as they enjoyed their drinks, asking them how many drinks they had consumed. They were surprised to find out exactly how many "standard drinks" they had actually had.

Our very own Mike O'Bryan took one for the team and stepped in as the gentleman who had had 2 bottles of beer. Way to make low risk choices Mike!! He was extra cool about having his makeup done. :P

Also taking one for the team was Taylor Kampia, one of our awesome producers. Thanks Taylor!

Doctor, Doctor, Give Me the News...

Tuesday Morning, September 14, Dr. Colliver, our heart expert, invited us to her office in Germantown, MD, to film the segment on heart disease with Antonio.

Drink Measurement

On Monday, September 13, Crisdine joined us as our bartender expert back at The Harp & Fiddle, in Bethesda. Her and Antonio spent the day measuring out beer, wine, and spirits, demonstrating a standard drink pour.

Tomo, aka Tamo, aka Ozzie, spared nothing to get the perfect shot! Thanks Tomo!
