Today's Shoot Has Been Brought to You by Travis' Belt...

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday have been super productive days at the studio.

Tom, Ray, Jim, and Sheila paid us a visit on Tuesday morning, so we were all on our best behavior. (This was particularly difficult for some!)

Wednesday, the beautiful and talented Michelle Ellison joined us from PRI as our first PRI expert. Michelle has been rocking the house, delivering her lines with style.

She is teaching Antonio all about psychological and social influences.  We will be sad when she leaves us!!

In our downtime, Travis has decided to teach us all about Trilateralism.

Bar Fights at The Harp & Fiddle... and our first shot at Man on the Street

There is no better way to start your week then a Monday morning at the bar. The production team met at The Harp & Fiddle in Bethesda to shoot Do We All Respond the Same? and Two Types of Problems.

The script called for two burly guys, who of course, did not show up for their part. So Nick and Patrick took one for the team and stood in, both well over six feet tall. Jim, the short guy in the middle, is actually STANDING UP!

In a quest to find free bar extras, Missy volunteered her friend Patrick, below in the red hat, and he did a fabulous job. So fabulous that he didn't come out of character the entire day. At one point Antonio turned to ask him a serious question and the reply was a big slur. He played "drunk" so well we were actually afraid he may have been taking shots while nobody was looking. His hit line... "Your mama spilled your beer!"

When the bar brawls were over, we took to the street to ask people a few simple questions. Common drinking advice? Ever had an impairment problem? Do you think it's possible you could one day develop heart disease? Cancer? How about alcoholism?

And alas, we wrapped up another great day with a great team!

Friday at Snider's.... and the Basketball Court

Friday morning started out at Snider's Super Foods in Silver Spring, MD, where we shot part of Lesson 1.

"Okay, so you know when you're in the check-out lane at the grocery store and see your favorite candy? Even if you're on a budget, or on a diet, you might grab it. Because an impulse-buy can taste pretty good.

Well, sometimes we make similar choices when it comes to alcohol or drugs..... OR DONUTS NICK!"

After a nice family lunch at the local diner, we headed over to the local community center to shoot some hoops.... and throw a basketball at Antonio a couple dozen times.

Missing the apple

Even though Antonio is from the Big Apple, catching one isn't as easy as it sounds. We finally got the shot and he did a great job of staying focused on delivering his lines without missing a beat.

Day 1, Monday, August 19: Belmont Studio

Prep day brought some interesting challenges, but by far the most entertaining were the rather large canvases of nudes all around the main area that we were strictly instructed NOT to remove.

So, no problem, we got fig leaves to cover up their parts. I think the Army will approve.... thoughts?

So everything was set up, Antonio had an uneventful train ride down from NYC, and the crew was ready to go...

Day 2, Tuesday, August 20: Belmont Studio

Day 2 was the first day of shooting at the studio. This studio is FABULOUS! A 3 bedroom apartment on Belmont, near Meridian Park in DC. The woman who owns the place is also the designer/developer. The view may be one of the best in the city.

Today we shot into the living room. The funniest moment of the day was when we decided to throw an apple for Antonio to blindly catch when he says "calls for quick thinking." Mike put together a hilarious blooper video of all the takes.

Here's a rundown of Day 2's shots...

Day 3, Wednesday, August 21: Belmont Studio

Day 3 was an awesome day. Got through a TON of shots. Antonio is fabulous with the prompter and usually gets things perfectly in just a couple of takes.

Today we shot into the kitchen. Here's a rundown of Day 3's shots...
